STATEMENT
I am interested in re-locating visual phenomena squarely within the body. The carnal, embodied experiences of color, of beauty, rupture hegemony and devastate rational discourse. Color is a bodily immersion within matter. Beauty is a call towards justice. My creative practice is a liberation methodology. My paintings are Temporary Autonomous Zones of Imagination. They are portals; spaces for envisioning the unknown and inspiring this same imagination in others.
